One week to go to Cudgee Fest!
Cudgee Fest is pleased to announce that Steve Lane and The Autocrats will be playing songs from their debut album ‘The Romance of Communication’. Bendigo muso's Steve Lane (voicepopfoible) and Jimmy Williams (Shedshakers, Paul Kelly & the Dots) team up with one of Australia’s great rhythm sections Edmondo Ammendola and David Williams (both of Augie March, Deb Conway, Dan Kelly) and Pete Slater - from festival favourites Dalriada - to perform their ‘superbly-crafted indie pop and stone cold riffs’.
The rough schedule of performers at this stage is:
6pm Barry Peters – Canya Dantz
7pm Rebecca Barnard (she has to leave by 8pm)
8pm Owen Ellemor
9pm Steve Lane & The Autocrats
James Laidler (will perform some poetry mixed in amongst the other acts)
Some of the local kids are making all sorts of creations to sell at their stall and are very excited!
